Darwin A. Torres
Darwin A. Torres is a pastor, missionary, and church planter, serving the Lord alongside his wife, Annie French, and their children Mery, Kassia, and Levi. He came to faith in Jesus Christ in the year 2002 at Calvary Chapel, an experience that shaped his life and ministry. Since then, he has been an active part of the Calvary Chapel movement, committed to the expositional teaching of God’s Word, dependence on the Holy Spirit, and the mission of making disciples.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Theology and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree, believing that a strong biblical foundation is essential for a healthy and growing church. God called his family to plant Calvary La Semilla in Cusco, Peru, beginning with a small group and trusting fully in Jesus’ promise: “I will build My church.”
Pastor Darwin currently serves as Director of Seminary Calvary Latin America , with a clear focus on training and equipping the next generation of pastors, missionaries, and Christian leaders.
Responding to a new call from God, the Torres family is planting a bilingual (Spanish–English) church in Colorado Springs, with the vision of reaching families, future generations, and multicultural communities with the gospel of Jesus Christ, forming disciples committed to both local and global mission.
