Calvary la Semilla Church welcomes you to its official website, where you will find different resources and a place where you can congregate. Our desire is to BE a church where God reflects his character in the life of each believer for the glory of his name. At Calvary la Semilla you will find a place to grow in your intimate relationship with God. We are a church that identifies with the love for God and the clear understanding of his word.

OUR DIRECTION IS THE WORD

At Calvary the Seed we teach expositionally verse by verse from Genesis to Revelation teaching the whole counsel of God, because we believe that the Spirit of God works through His Word in the hearts of our people. God has used the light of the Scriptures to direct His church, so preaching it accurately is our priority. All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:15-17)

And they read from the Book of the Law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, so that they understood the reading.” Nehemiah 8:8

El Libro de Galatas

El libro de Gálatas, escrito por el apóstol Pablo, defiende el evangelio de la gracia, oponiéndose a las enseñanzas que promovían la necesidad de cumplir la ley judía, como la circuncisión, para ser salvo. Pablo enseña que la salvación se recibe únicamente por la fe en Jesucristo y no por las obras de la ley, destacando que los creyentes son justificados por la obra redentora de Cristo.
En la segunda mitad de la carta, Pablo exhorta a los gálatas a vivir en la libertad que Cristo les ha dado, no para satisfacer los deseos pecaminosos, sino para ser guiados por el Espíritu y producir su fruto, como el amor, la paz y la paciencia. Advierte contra las obras de la carne y anima a los creyentes a restaurar a aquellos que han caído.

El grupo de jóvenes de nuestra iglesia es un espacio diseñado para ayudar a los jóvenes a crecer en su relación con Dios, conectarse con otros, y vivir su fe de manera real. Nos reunimos los sábados a las 5:00 pm, para estudiar la Biblia y discutir temas relevantes para su vida diaria, con un enfoque en fortalecer su identidad en Cristo.
Estamos estudiando La primera carta de Juan, esta carta nos invita a vivir una vida transformada por nuestra fe en Cristo, evidenciando el amor y la obediencia a los mandamientos de Dios. Juan enfatiza que al caminar en la luz y amarnos unos a otros, demostramos una verdadera relación con Dios. Nos advierte contra los falsos maestros y nos asegura que, al mantenernos firmes en nuestra fe en Jesús, podemos tener la certeza de la vida eterna.

WHY SUPPORT A WIDOW?

Helping a widow in need of food and spiritual support is an act of compassion that reflects God’s heart and care for the most vulnerable. Many widows face both material and emotional deprivation, and physical food is only part of their needs. By providing sustenance, we alleviate their immediate needs, but spiritual support is equally vital, providing comfort, direction, and a deeper connection to Christ. By caring for their physical and spiritual needs, we obey the biblical mandate to care for those in more fragile situations and demonstrate God’s love in action.
